Only verified UW–Madison students can create listings or message sellers and buyers.
Safety & Trust
How do you verify students?
Students must sign up using their UW–Madison email. This ensures everyone on the platform is a real student.
Are listings reviewed?
Yes. Every listing is reviewed by our team before going live to prevent fake or misleading posts.
Is payment handled through the platform?
Yes. You can buy listings through the secure payment window. (needs editing)
Buying
How do I buy an item?
Browse listings, message the seller directly through the platform, buy the listing, and arrange pickup or delivery together.
Can I negotiate prices?
Yes. Buyers and sellers can discuss pricing through in-app messaging.
Selling
How do I list an item?
Create an account, submit your listing with photos and details, and once approved by our team, it will go live.
Is it free to list?
Yes. Avenduer takes a 10% commission fee from Vendors on all sales.
Policies
What items are allowed?
Bicycles, e-scooters, mopeds, and other student-friendly transportation options. All items must be legal and in usable condition.
What happens if someone violates the rules?
We remove listings or accounts that violate our guidelines to keep the marketplace safe for everyone.
